Since around 2022 a wave of ticketed, DJ-led raves has grown in Lagos in direct reaction to the city's bottle-service economy. The flagship is Group Therapy, founded by DJ Aniko, and the point is stated plainly: a room with a dance floor in it.
Others in the same orbit: Ilé Ijó, Monochroma, Sunday Service, Bvrn Out, Element House, Flat 8, Dance Eko, Mainland House and Rooftop House. Boiler Room ran a Lagos session with Group Therapy in April 2025 featuring AMÉMÉ, Aniko, and Yosa b2b WeAreAllChemicals.
